I just RO'ed a two day NRL Hunter match with a pair of Sig Sauer ZULU6 HDX 12x42mm Image Stabilized bino's. We used some older Cannon Image Stabilized binos to setup the course of fire. For the money I thought the sigs held their own with the Cannons. Nice niche piece of kit.
A good repeatable scope with a usable reticle at that distance.
Tikka, Bergaras, and Seekins come to mind as good quality rifles.
A kestrel and magnetospeed would be handy for doping out your rifle.
Your brass will last longer if you anneal every firing. As the brass is easier to work. Between 1 - 4 firings isn't that large of a spread. I doubt youll see any difference.
MDT CkyePod if weight is not a concern. If you need height, shooting up/down hills or shooting seated, I would go with a Ckyepod.
