I inherited a model 183 bolt action 410. It has external choke tubes on it. I guess new this gun was suppose to come with a modified and full choke. Also the choke wrench is almost like a spanner wrench. I’m looking to try and kind of complete it. I’m in search of the choke wrench and a full...
I inherited the gun. Don’t have it with me but pretty sure I was told it shot 300 ackley. You’re probably right I’ve never done much research on it. I have no real use for it for where I hunt and what I hunt. Waiting on a pic for the ammo I got with it.
Ya for me regardless I will buy a 40 cal probably more as a night stand gun. For summers I have a p365 that is sweet and winter I have the 19. The g23 would get the red dot and tac light
From what I’ve seen it seems that only one company makes a 357 sig barrel for the gen 5 and they are charging like 250-280 for it. Ya I know there has always been a debate on 9mm and 40 cal. People argue stopping power and knockdown. I think there is a fair argument for the science and...
curious on the Glock 23 gen 5. I know you can get conversion barrels for 9mm and 357 sig. I don’t plan to get the 9 as I have a g19 already. For the 357 sig do you just need the barrel? Also how well does it function? I’ve seen some mixed reviews on whether you need get Glock 357 sig mags or if...
Just found some on gun broker for 42 bucks a box. Just not sure what shipping would cost. It was very regularly 52ish. Sportsman’s has always had it for 66 bucks a box
I’ll have to check. Scheels has always had it. As well as the other handful of big box stores. Sportsman’s has some here but they want 66 bucks a box. I usually pay 52 ish and have bought as low as 41.99.
I shoot the federal premium terminal ascent ammo for my 7 rem mag. It’s been readily available here in western Montana for at least this last year. Last month all of a sudden it seems to have disappeared. Anyone have any insight on it? Hopefully just the way the manufacture cycle goes for ammo.
Ya I figure one box of BB to make sure it functions properly will be fine then get some lead cleaner and scrub it good. Next time I shoot lead would be at a bear so
Ya I grew up with glocks. I always say you either love them or hate them. They aren’t the prettiest but dang do they function reliably. I always heard you couldn’t shoot lead thru stock Glock but seems times or thoughts have changed. I live in Montana so it will be a staple for me when I’m out...
