Just get in the woods as much as you can. You’ll see deer, make mistakes, eventually get an opportunity to take an animal, and learn a whole bunch. There’s nothing better than getting out before sunrise and watching the forest come alive.
I cut way back last year and ended up quitting altogether after seeing the benefits. Someone else said it, but the biggest thing for me is the quality of sleep I get now. It’s amazing how much that matters now that I’m in my 40s.
