I had to do exactly this same thing with mine about a year ago and posted the results on here as well. Haven't had any further issues since filing that lip off.
Reached out to Mtn Tactical and never got a response.
We got a 10x10 with the portico panels and really like it. It goes up a lot faster than you'd think. Seems to stay warmer at night, and cooler during the day than anything else I've used.
The only cons are that they're huge when packed.
I went with a Springbar due to the reported customer...
I struggled with this one year. I tried all sorts of stuff and couldn't break it. Ultimately, I hung the bow up for the summer and refused to touch it. By the time fall came and I picked it back up, I was gtg again.
It was incredibly frustrating.
It's purely speculation on my part, but I think the larger ball is easier to adjust the friction. It's not so much an on/off switch like the small ones tend to be.
We got our oldest a phone when she started doing the extra curricular school stuff. 11 or 12 maybe?
We've been using Life 360 since it was in development - very handy app to have and we required location services to be on all the time. I used to use Life 360 to find softball fields and schools...
He probably did take a pay cut to move to 1991 Bozeman.
I don't know if you can still use that argument in 2024 Bozeman??
Websites are telling me that where I live the average salary is 1k higher than Bozeman - and I live in what most would consider a very high paying area.
You have to have a...
When I was looking around I think the stripped shadow frames were 325-350.
Same concerns. When I handled the neighbors (I think it's the same model as yours actually) shadow, it had that familiar feel and I felt like I could actually shoot it. He already offered to let me borrow it sometime...
You have any input on the x ten?? I've handled that and really like it, but all I read about are mag and feeding issues.
I have an xdm in 10mm right now and haven't had any issues - I'm just not in love with it either.
I picked up a gen 5 20, which to my knowledge would be about the same as...
I'm not a Glock guy due to the grip and trigger reach. However, I handled my neighbors Shadow Systems with a 1911 style backstrap in it, and that felt really good.
The Shadow Systems frame is stupid expensive. Are the Lone Wolfs or any of the other aftermarket frames more similar in size and...
I don't know anyone that field hunts without one. The only exception would be the outfitters that have pits in the fields. They're more of a pain to hide, but they're considerably warmer and more comfortable. Doors on the new ones are almost spring loaded - can get up and out crazy fast.
We got our last one from Torg's Labs in northern MN.
Both of my labs have come from hunting lines and are absolute couch potatoes in the house and have been great with kids. IME hunting labs seem to have an on/off switch that actually works.
I've been kicking around the idea of changing/painting the oak trim in my upstairs to white as well. By the time you pull and prep all that oak, would you be money/time ahead just buying new primed trim?? I painted our bathroom vanity, but that prep time filling grain and sanding adds up in a hurry.
