    In case anyone is interested for future reference, I contacted Garmin and they told me "That pin is if you want the training page to stay on the screen and not go away, other wise when you press a training button it only stays on the screen for 5 seconds."

    I received an announcement of some new features on OnX, including one (a Layer?) that removes the leaves from forests. I upgraded by subscription to Elite (just 4 days before learning of the 30% savings I could have had by being a BCHA member) but don't know how to access these new features...

    No burns to look for here. I'm a Midwest grouse hunter, and look for certain age aspen stands, and timber cuts. I have seen cuts that are more than a couple years old that don't seem to be showing up on the maps I am looking at. Hence, the reason for my question.

    Is there a way to know the date of an OnX map that one is looking at? I read that the maps are updated periodically, like every several years but I would like to know how old the map is.
