    I do…. And I’ve ended up carrying my spare after having the scope smack off a rock when I slipped. Turned out hit held zero but I got back at dark and headed back out early. Didn’t have an opportunity to check zero so took the one I felt most confident in.

    Moose for quality/quantity. If I got it be steak it’d be bison though it’s a tough draw. Of the every year critters. Sitka Blcktail has to be up there with Dall sheep

    How useful would your OnX waypoints be to a stranger?

    I only mark pretty significant things/kill sites. It wouldnt take a rocket scientist to figure out what most of them are or even what species I was hunting. Id definitely be upset if that info became public.

    Lightweight Hunting Daypack

    The badlands 2200 is really hard to beat. I keep buying packs then coming back to that one. The access from the back pad is awesome when you have stuff strapped on the outside.

    The new messenger app is light years ahead of the earthmate app as well. That alone is worth upgrading to the mini2 or messenger device.

    I haven’t seen a difference in tips as the owner/operator versus the times as a hired captain. So I’d tip the same….based on effort

    As a fishing guide I do my best to work my tail off for my clients every day whether the fish are biting or not. Very rarely are the tips less than 10%, and most days closer to 20.
