Been having this issue for a while, just thought I would mention it. I originally signed up on my IPhone and when I log in using the IPhone I can see pictures within posts. When I try to view a thread containing pictures through my desktop I can see no pictures only a .

Realized for archery hunting that I probably shouldn't have binoculars around my neck, so I opted for a more compact pair. I ended up with the Vortex Diamondback compact 8x28. They fit in a pocket on my hip belt. Thanks for all of the replies and suggestions.
Fellow Sliders,
Anyone have a pair of binos they would like to part with? Looking for something mainly for whitetails in Virginia. Hoping to do a trip out west at some point but I want to buy for what I will be primarily hunting.
I have looked at several Leupold Yosemite, Rebel Redfield, Zen...
Sorry for the mixup, I just figured since I cant use a deer cart (no wheeled vehicle) that this may be an issue as well. Doesnt sound like it will be though, great idea!
Thank you for the reply. I now realize I have not scouted the area I hunt well enough to be able to still hunt effectivly.
Would you mind describing what you are looking for in order to determine a spot is still hunt worthy?

Picked up a pair of the Light Hikers from REI, fit great really comfortable but seem a little thin for winter use. I was wondering what weight you guys use for winter hunting.
Thanks!

I know what...

This is a bit OCD but I cant help myself. I recently began training with a loaded pack (about 40 lbs). I bought one of the Tenzing 6000's during the Midway sale for $199. It is roughly eleventy billion times better than my old 39$ pack from CampMor. There is a trail about 3 minutes from work so...
If you dont need Camo check out your local TJ Maxx, Marshall's and Goodwill. I was able to find a heavy merino wool sweater for about 15$ (TJ Maxx- some Irish Brand) a medium weight shirt ( Joseph H Banks) and a lightweight shirt (Banana Republic) at Goodwill for 5$ a peice. Sure I could wear...
