    My howa 7prc has been shooting the federal eldx and tipped fusion 3/4 to 1 moa consistently aswell. The rifle shoots better than the nut behind it so I’m sure with some more practice those groups will shrink.

    My howa did not like the terminal ascents at all. It did seem to like the federal 175 eldx however. Take that with a grain of salt, gun/shooter one of the two has been very inconsistent so far with 60rds down it.

    Thanks for the info! I will take it all apart tonight and retorque everything back to spec. I have not been able to find action screw tq values from howa however. I am also taking into consideration that it could very well be the nut behind the gun.

    I feel like the group was either a lucky one or I did everything 110% correctly, didn’t have any more rounds left to verify that group, but the groups before that were 2 to 2.5” groups. The terminal ascent was averaging about a 3” group and the Hornady 175 Eldx wasn’t even worth measuring.

    Mag length on my 7mag I just received is 3.394. I currently only reload for my 308. Was just curious if I was missing out on anything going with 7mag over 7prc. Thanks all!

    Is the 7prc worth it over a faster twist 7mag? Reloading velocities seem pretty equal!
