I live in the Appalachian mountains . My favorite and best times hunting are in the rain . I actually plan on it . I got a good rain suit and it helps but nothing keeps you super dry .
I got one of those rubber shoot and seal targets , throw it out about 15 yards just shoot it one bullet in the mag at a time . I’m doing way better . I’m hitting a 3 inch target at 30 every time . Slow fire , one bullet at a time and reload . It’s helped just going thru all the motions . Dry...

Excellent response. Animals are not hard to kill . Waiting on the animal to present itself the way you want and putting in the practice for chosen weapon is what is hard . Patients and shot placement will kill any beast with any weapon .
I killed my first big buck with a marlin 1895 trapper in 45-70 . About a 30 yard chest shot DRT . I grew up around houndsman so lever guns was very familiar to me . Seems like no kidding that every deer hunter around here gets a 300 magnum to shoot less than 200 yards . WNC mountains . I always...
That’s good stuff I appreciate that. This is also my first handgun with a dot . It took some getting used to . I keep finding myself wanting to change my grip . Mostly just pointer finger on front of trigger guard . I’m back and forth on that . I can’t tell a difference on accuracy . It feels...
I recently purchased an sig p220 hunter in 10mm . 2017 model . I put a Trijicon SRO on it and I’ve been practicing at 15 ,20 ,30,40 yards with my chosen hunting round underwood 200 grain xtp. I try and shoot 50 rounds every week. So far I’m happy with results , I’m good up to 20 . 30 yards I’m...

I have 8x30 cls they are ok. I got a pair of styrka s7 8x42 that exceed them . Really good glass / out of business no warranty. Find on eBay for around 4or 5 . They are my go to binos everytime over my lower end swaros . I’ve had them for years they are solid and perfect for me in the 8 class .
It’s all I hunt with . It’s accurate enough for me out to 300 . I don’t have any shot further than that . Best scope in the business for simple short range hunting lowlight . At least I think so
I bought the 308 scout . I did the 50 round break in groups got smaller toward the end . It’s definitely sub moa . I’m getting used to the aics mag . I was gonna change it to flush bottom but it’s just to reliable and smooth . I’ve only got 200 rounds thru it . My shots are all under 300 yards ...
