The Optima doesn't have a good flat spot to mount the plate. My buddy had to revert back to his Death Grip intead of the ARCA attachment for his Optima.
All I've ever used is fixed and my favorites were the Muzzy Phantom MX (discontinued), Slick Trick Magnums, and Slick Trick Grizz Tricks. Can't complain about any of them except that you can't get the Phantom MX's anymore.
I have a Rise Armament single stage that I really like that is on the cheaper end of the budget. Got a buddy that prefers two stage and he keeps ordering the RRA triggers for me to install for him.
I thought T/C business was booming when he sold it to S&W??? S&W closed T/C because they saw higher profits in pouring more captial into semi-auto rifles and handguns rather than muzzleloaders and bolt actions.
EVERYTHING T/C ceased when Smith & Wesson decided they wanted to invest more in their semi-autos instead of keeping T/C alive.

Somebody just posted in a comment on the T/C facebook page that Marty from Haus of Arms is the one reopening it. But I don't see anything hinting at that on the HoA website.
Don't believe I've ever even heard of a lead-free 22lr round.
I know a guy that has played around with starting loads of H110 and 52/53 grain bullets in his .22 Hornet and has had stellar results. Tight groups and long shots on squirrels.
You may be able to do the same with some Barnes bullets.
Young ones I fry with a Cajun seafood breading. Older ones I bake until tender and then fry like the young ones or bake them in a covered dish with one of my favorite cans of soup (usually about 350 for 2- 2 hours and 15 minutes) until the meat is tender enough to fall off the bones.
I've had two does wheel at the shot and then walk away like nothing happened. Neither went more than 40-50 yards. That second one was this October the 7th. The first one was my first bow kill and it had me worried until I saw her drop.
.177 Umarex Gauntlet that I occasionally use for squirrels.
Also has plenty of punch for groundhogs around the house.
