Eating Tag Soup After 1st Elk Hunt
....but I had a blast and learned a ton. Hunted around the Gunnison / Montrose area for 2nd rifle, and was never able to see an animal I could legally shoot. Spent 8 days on the mountains, with a big blizzard hitting hard on the first day. 10/10 would do it again. -

Thanks! Thanks! I started off enlisted as a cavalry scout, and than became an armor officer (still doing recon stuff). I switched to FA40 (Space Operations) around 2012, which is what landed in me in Colorado. Were you in?- Kirby

Hi all, New guy here from Colorado. Recently medically retired from the Army and have been starting hunting/fishing/outdoorsmanship as a way to stay outdoors and keep in shape. I've got 4 young kids who occupy most of my free time, but am looking forward to sharing these hobbies with them...- Kirby
