We received some maps prior to hunting, which was helpful. I ended up bringing an OHV (Mule). We registered it with the state and were able to travel through the state land to get to better hunting spots. We saw one 5 x 5 but it was unfortunately on private property so we didn’t shoot it...- TexasMoose

I’m hunting unit 48 in two weeks. Have you been yet? Any luck? I’m Scouting next week. I’m also interested in access information. We have a cabin on the northwest side just outside Angel fire. Curious if we should hike in or find a good access road.- TexasMoose
