    Best Credit Card?

First off, never, ever, ever pay interest in a credit card. They must be paid off every month! That said, I play the game fairly hard. I currently have 5 Chase cards. Personal -Chase Sapphire Preferred -Chase Freedom Flex -Chase United Explorer Business -Chase Ink Unlimited -Chase...

Should hunting be uncomfortable? -Bringing up young hunters

Interesting topic. I think there is as much misguided conventional wisdom on this topic as how bullets and cartridges relate to efficient killing. I think around 5% of the US population hunts? So can we start off with the assumption that certainly not every child whose parents are hunters...

What caused the Rokslide shift to smallest caliber and cartridges?

@pacoalcracker , I'm probably being overly grumpy about this. Don't take me too seriously. We set trusses in the wind today, it's made me a little irascible tonight....

What caused the Rokslide shift to smallest caliber and cartridges?

I've posted all my kills in the last 3 years in the 223 and 6.5 threads. Those, as well as the 6mm thread, have massive amounts of terminal data. Outside of that, I'm not interested in setting them straight. The info is there........ Not trying to be a jerk, and I probably shouldn't have...

What caused the Rokslide shift to smallest caliber and cartridges?

Since we all generally look to American Hunter for our hard hitting science based terminal info? I've always felt they were one of the worst "I was invited to ****ranch in Texas by (insert company name here) to test the new ******. Not exactly confidence inspiring when it comes to unbiased...

    Exo Gear yearly sale details?

I bought a 5000 about a month ago, but this pushed me over the edge for a blaze lid and some other accessories.

    Anyone find it ironic...

Bingo. I would say from observation that the fuse is a little shorter for threads on Aron than some others. It doesnt ruin my day, knowing that Aron was an owner here at one time I almost expect that. As long as we have humans as mods, 100% objectivity is not going to happen. Overall, I...

    Exo Mountain K4?

I know a lot of people aren't thrilled with the Exo rifle carrier, so I thought I'd post what I did to integrate a Kifaru Gunbearer into the angled panel on the shoulder strap. Just a tri-glide and a piece of 1" webbing. The steel tri-glides from the Gunbearer are what's wrapped up in tape...

Best ROI on upgrades for November elk hunting

A couple years later..... I am fully on the RF bino train, and still using the pair I bought in the classifieds here. They are a pleasure. My hunting partner went out and bought a new pair of Geovids after seeing mine work on a hunt. He told me just a few weeks ago " I can't imagine going...

Montana Rifle Co, Shoot2Hunt, and Rokslide Rifle

Excellent. I'm not surprised, as the crowd immediately interested in these will probably disproportionately buy a lot of 223 and 6 ARC, if available. I'm looking forward to what you come up with!

Montana Rifle Co, Shoot2Hunt, and Rokslide Rifle

If we are just doing wish lists here, a correctly designed micro action for 223 and 6 ARC would be nirvana. I.E., something like my CZ 527 but with some of the issues fixed. I realize this might need to be a project for the future.

    Moderators

As a long time member here, I'd like to give props to the mods. I really appreciate the family friendly nature of this site, the no politics rule, and the proactive work with keeping unit numbers and areas off the Internet. Seems like you keep this place under control without being too heavy handed!
