Emergency communications
I have a zoleo. If you just care about messaging, it seems to be the best. I reach will do more. Only thing I wanted it for was to communicate when outside cell coverage. It does require you to use your phone. You get a regular phone number with it and then use the app to send and recieve text... -

How many TAG bone out bags for a bighorn?
I used caribou game bags. But 1 for the cape and then 2 for the meat. Might have been able to stuff it in one but I like to keep front and hind quarter meat sperated. -

2023 Sheep Mount
Very Nice! My 2023 Bighorn is supposed to be done in the next couple weeks. Waiting has been tourcher! -

Long shots
Longest shot on animal was my Bighorn Sheep at 426 yards. Best long range shooting was little under 1/2 moa 3 shoot group at 800 yards and some change lol fully admit with holding off for wind and changing winds that it could have just been random chance/luck but I'm counting it!- BobBob

Too many choices, help me choose a daypack
I use my metcalf as a day pack. It cinches down nice and tight. Carries meat really well -

What kind of ammo for moose?
Last ueqr I shot a Bighorn Sheep, a mule deer, and 2 whitetail doe with federal premium 200gr TA. Did the job for me -

It really was just an awesome experience. It wasn't some grand adventure like alot of sheep hunts. But i made the most of it. I spent a ton of time in the unit this summer. Sleeping in the back of the truck, eating nothing but PBJ. Not because I had to, but to just add to the memories. -

I was in shock when i drew my Chelan Butte ram tag. I only had 3 points. When i put in, i thought i was just getting another point. Never even dreamed i would draw. This isn't some backcountry unit. It's a butte along the Colombia River. You can drive all the way to the top. You can see Wallmart...
