Hoping I can find a collector here….

Atsko, the people who make Sno-Seal, have a Silicone based waterproofing spray. I’ve had very good success with it. I read several articles online and watched a few videos comparing Nikwax, Kiwi Camp Dry, Atsko, and some others and it definitely seemed to outperform the others. I use the Nikwax...
For what it’s worth, having something like a tarp over the top of the Bivy would provide the room to cook without the moisture buildup. Peeing would definitely be a bigger challenge though!
I think a solid sleeping pad is critical first, and that quilts are the way to go. I’m looking at purchasing a new sleep system this year, and I think Im going to end up the the Katabatic Elite quilt or Enlightened Equipment quilt. I like their pad connection system a bit more than the Zenbivys

I can’t find ammo, I can’t find brass, can barely find primers, and I’m somewhat new to this hobby. I need to start reloading for my Tikka T3 .300WSM for hunting this fall. I primarily use it for moose, bear, and mountain goat. I’d like to stay in the 180gr-200gr. range. I currently have some...
I’ve contemplated this same thing. Bugs are not near as much a concern to me as the rain is though. I think if I go this route, one of the OR Alpine Bivy‘s would be the way to go. They’re supposed to be very weather resistant and I think weigh around 19oz. Combined with a UL tarp, I think it...
Can anyone share their experiences with Tricer gear? I’m becoming more of an ounces conscious person and their 2.7oz pan head seems like it could be a good way to go. I’ve never met anyone that uses their gear, but it appears it may be good stuff. I think they made trekking poles at one point in...
