    I worry about not being able to shoot it. I can get .30-06 at the gas station in BFE. 7mm WSM rifles are cheap because of it though and that’s nice.

    I wouldn't worry about losing the magazine. It really ought never be separated from the rifle except under specific circumstances and even then not for any length of time.

    Knife/tool sharpener

    Wicked Edge, but I prefer my Ken Onion Work Sharp. You just need to use the very fine grits to sharpen. No need to remove metal.

    Several years ago i bought some 'recraftable' boots from them. I ordered a size bigger than I usually do and they were still too small for my feet. Anyway, I wore them twice and said to hell with it. I was wondering if anyone has had them recrafted or if Danner quality is still where it used...

    Yep...Has to be magazine. It takes some getting used to but I think I actually kind of like the box mags. I can load them up, toss in my bag, and be ready to go in the dark when hunting with less fiddling around.
