Thanks, after scouting a bit I found water to be pretty available due to cattle. I almost bought a moo cow Montana decoy because there’s so many cows around. They seem to not mind the cows and hangout near them. Which can be problematic with cows being so curious and blowing a stalk. I think...
Thanks! I have been out scouting multiple times and found some decent terrain features I can use to stalk in. Water is everywhere for the cattle so it’s hard to narrow down one watering spot. There’s some decent bucks out there every time I go out. Gets quite flat in some areas so I’ll avoid...
This will be my first archery antelope hunt. What’s my best strategy, hunt water, hunt fence crossings or spot and stalk. I’ll utilize all three but maybe some of you have advice. Between the cattle water tanks and how much rain we got this summer there’s bound to be plenty of water. Spot and...
I actually looked over that thread I guess I was hoping someone had some experience with the full frame outdoors other than a few testimonials on their Instagram page. Thanks much appreciated
Balling on a budget with the new glassing setup. I know everyone says don’t use your center post raised at all due to movement. This Davis & Sanford tripod has a center post that’s permanently affixed to the tripod half extended already. It’s rock solid and works amazing so far. The tripod comes...
Guess I’ll give the full frame outdoors a try. Got my new glass and tripod setup. Got a small rig pan head and it’s really really good for 50$. I’ll make a new post with all the details.
What’s everyone using for optics phone holders? I really like the idea of being able to use on different glass. I found a company called full frame outdoors that makes a pretty sweet mount for 80$ that fits most glass. Obviously it’s not a perfect system but I’m more interested in compatibility...
I found myself rock crawling with the 4Runner way too often this season. I have decided a quad is in my future for next season. The van would be perfect with a small trailer behind it with a quad. Then you have base camp and can still hit these nasty trails and be in a new location everyday.
Picked up a 97 T100 that might become the new hunting rig. Just picked up a sun lite slide in camper for it. Now I just need an atv and I’ll be all set.
