Iota Outdoors EKO stock. Good? Bad?

Bought one inletted for a 700 LA. Inlet was both too tight around the front of the action for it to drop in, the area around the bottom metal was loose and also too shallowly inlet. Removed a bunch of material and bedded everything. Now it's on to installing the arca rail and finishing the first...

    20ga convert waterfowl

Care to post that recipe? That sounds lethal, and a nice slow load like that is perfect for ducks and heavily pressured upland birds.

    Shooting a lightweight rifle well

Shooting the rifle "well" is the major variable in the discussion. I predict if you're trying to compare the accuracy of your 5lb ultralight gun to a heavier rifle, you may very well find yourself displeased. That's not to say your ultralight gun cant meet your goals, but having reasonable...

7mm PRC - Savage 110 Ultralight or Christensen Mesa?

Do you think that had to do with velocity on impact? A lot of thin jacketed bullets will have a hard time staying together when impact velocities are extreme.

    20ga convert waterfowl

Glad you have discovered the fun of the waterfowl subgauge! I would implore you to try opening up your chokes to light mod. or IC (if you havent already) and trying some 2-3/4" Bismuth #5 or #6. Pattern density is generally supremely even in all of my guns, and that load has stoned some birds...

    Predator Rifles! Let's See Them!

100gr Partitions, 85gr Hammer Hunters, 107gr Sierra Matchkings, 95gr V-Max have all been stellar.

    Predator Rifles! Let's See Them!

No pics at the moment, but a CZ 527 in 6.5 Grendel plays double duty for me. It has taken dogs for me in excess of 400 yards, and a handful of deer between 30 and 100.

How Have the California Bears Reacted?

I've seen bears out and about in usual numbers compared to previous years. Northern CA.

    Speed goats vs match bullets.

Likewise. Critters have rarely had feedback about the projectile being a match bullet.
