    I think options are nice...I have a set of Hawk Heliums with a Predator platform...also started using a Big B.O.B for one sticking...last week I scouted a tree that required me to break out the Lone Wolf Assault due to the limbs an how I wanted to sit...even if you don't one stick, I've found...

    The saw part isn't overly complicated (thus the Harbor Freight option)...just get you a good tool to square the ends once cut...I use a older one from G5 but I saw they release a new version
