Sold Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x42 MOA w/ Illum

I'll think about it. All my other optics are in MOA even though I'm still a pretty big novice when it comes to reading reticles. I do everything in yards so it seems easier using MOA.

    Leupold VX-3HD 4.5-14x40 vs Leupold VX-Freedom 4-12x40?

I currently have the VX-Freedom 4-12x40 w/ 1in tube. I have it on my AR-15 in 6mm ARC. The main reason I purchased it was for the weight. I think it weighs only 12-13oz. The glass is great for the price and have no complaints out to 200-250 yards. I do want to take my 6ARC out further and...

    300Blk - Hornady 190gr Sub-X Bullets - Reloading

That's awesome I've been using the 220gr RN too. I love them. Even though I found the sub-x, I'm still keeping the RN.

    300Blk - Hornady 190gr Sub-X Bullets - Reloading

So I shot my first round with the sub-x. I was at an indoor range so didn't really care about accuracy. I had my chronograph and wanted to make sure everything cycled okay. Accurate 1680 11gr - Ave 1066 fps, SD 18.2 CFE BLK 12.4gr - Ave 1054 fps, SD 16 Everything cycled wonderfully. I think...

    300Blk - Hornady 190gr Sub-X Bullets - Reloading

I have the CCI 400 as well. Primers were hard to find so I took what I could get. I was told Magnums were a little bit safer on gas guns but I think that's just hearsay. I've never had a slam fire. I'll definitely try both and see if there's a difference.

    300Blk - Hornady 190gr Sub-X Bullets - Reloading

Yeah I think I need to get the flex top seater. I did find that the resized brass did seat the bullet better than the new brass. I did chamfer and dubur, but I also should have run the new brass through the resizing die...and lubed the neck better.

    300Blk - Hornady 190gr Sub-X Bullets - Reloading

Had anyone noticed these Sub-X Bullets not being completely uniform??...Seating these to a uniform COL was a pain in the ass.

    300Blk - Hornady 190gr Sub-X Bullets - Reloading

I finally found the Hornady 30cal 190gr Sub-X bullet in stock for my 9in 300blk AR suppressed, and I want to build a subsonic load for it (sub 1100 fts). Below I will list what I'm starting with, but if anyone has any experience, please post below. Brass - LC once fired, Starline new Primers...

Do I need to fire form after market brass? What do you do?

Ok nice. I only have a full resizing die but I don't think it will hurt anything just doing a full resize on it. I do have an annealer so I'm not too worried about working the brass a little more than I have too. So my Hornady reloading book gives me a "max case length" and a "trim case...

Awesome. I was definitely going to test each brand, but that is definitely good to know. Thanks!

Do I need to fire form after market brass? What do you do?

I'm new to reloading. I primarily load for my 6mm ARC. With my handloads I pretty consistently shoot .5-.75 MOA with 5 rounds at 100 yards. 6mm ARC brass has been impossible to find so I have only been using once fired Brass from Hornady factory ammo. The brass is already fire formed to my...
