I understand that. I'm not saying the solution now is more molds since you said that wasn't the issue. I'd just like to know what's going on. I know others would as well.

So what's the hold up then? I understand the setbacks at first and obviously there will be some unexpected delays but I feel like by now, things should be running smoothly and at least the day 1 orders should be filled.

I have no idea, but I'd love to know and get some transparency on the situation. Maybe 6 months ago it was time for another mold or 2. I still remember "We will build as many molds as needed to have your stock made in 90 days"

If I had to guess, that's going to be a looong time. There's day 1 orders still unfulfilled, there's a massive amount of week 1 orders still unfilled. Just think about the February, March, May etc orders.

    Bergara opinions??

You picked 2 bad options and you don't like the good option. I've seen more than one bergara develop issues that cause them not to fire with not very many rounds down them. Definitely wouldn't take one hunting. Christensen, another cheap 700 clone plagued with qc issues. Might get a good...

    Arrow Penetration....

My fixed heads and mechanical heads fly the same. If people are choosing a head based off how it flies they are missing alot of details.

    Arrow Penetration....

The bow setup plays into it as well. Someone with a 32" draw pulling 75lbs and sending 500+gr arrows above 300fps is alot different than someone with a 28" draw at 60lbs sending an arrow 125-150gr lighter going 275 or slower.

Yikes. There is some railed tikkas from January orders out in the wild. They were spartan rails so somehow they jumped the line. I'm still waiting on my arca/pic railed tikka from a day 6 order.

    Would you buy this scope?

Hornady knows the effectiveness of match bullets on game. They just don't sell them to the general public as hunting bullets for a variety of reasons.

It's good to see day 1 orders being delivered.

    Would you buy this scope?

I'd buy it. But I'd also like to see one that's 16-18x on the high end for some situations. That's my .02

6mm and .223/5.56 ILLEGAL for big game in Alaska!

Every time I read threads like this I just can't believe that people think monos kill better, arrows do more damage, match bullets blow up on shoulders, other rumors etc.... it's wild to discuss/argue week in and week out. Pick any animal, shoot a heavy for caliber polymer tipped match bullet...

What's a good public land whitetail state in the midwest?

I feel like the responses here have been pretty good.... saying there isn't much public land in Nebraska or other eastern states isn't a lie.

What's a good public land whitetail state in the midwest?

Nebraska doesn't have much public land, but there is some here and if you don't have antler expectations you could probably fill a tag pretty easily.

    Tikka Nitriding

So there is a few different types of nitride processes. Some require very high temps, like near 2000 degrees f and create a hard layer .010"-.060" deep. I'd be a little worried about that on a action not designed for nitride unless tikka came out and said exactly what makeup their actions are...

    Womans Bow Advice

My girlfriend is shooting an elite ember. Once she showed some serious intrest she got a drop away rest and it's very accurate now. The adjustability is fantastic and she likes the teal color. It'll work until she decides to get really really serious.
