Just finished up my son’s 7saw II and it’s an awesome round. Also running 41.0 varget and 162 eldm. 2725fps in the 20” is more than enough. Might build myself one!
For what it’s worth I sold my 20” 6creed when I got my 6GT. You can get plenty of velocity with a GT utilizing 105-110 class bullets and the animals I’ve shot with the GT haven’t complained about the different headstamp on the brass.

Appreciate the kind words! With the EH SL stock now discontinued I’ll likely keep this one and just replace the 22” tube with an 18-20” when the time comes.
I run an 18” but my buddies 20” runs 180 ELDM right at 2900fps with 4831SC. We both run the same load with great results, mine is just a bit slower of course.
Bartlein #4 carbon/anti/eh superlight. They have a shorter one right now that is SUPER similar with a fluted steel barrel I have been eyeing as well. It’s a shooter I’d like a little shorter one!
I’m running a lightweight 6GT I picked up off GAP’s ready to ship list a while back. It’s a 22” so the data won’t be exact but I run 109 ELDM/110 a-tips at 2875fps.
I went the tikka compact 223 route for my son. It’s been so cool I went ahead and picked myself up a roughtech ranch so we can practice with the same caliber. He harvested his first deer (mule deer buck) with it in October. Killed it as dead as anything else I’ve seen or used.
