Selling a basically new Leica Amplus 6 3-18x44i BDC, MOA, L-4w illuminated reticle. I have all of the original packaging. It's a great scope and clean reticle but I need to move to FFP and missed the return window by 2 weeks. Listed on Eurooptic for $1500 + tax
$1100 shipped. Located in PHX...
I like the Amplus a lot. I bought it 2 months ago and the glass and L-4W reticle is great. The only reason I want to sell is due to SFP. My son has a tag and he works the scope zoom when we are in the field while I give him wind calls. Some times he's not zoomed entirely which throws off the...
I have a maverick x3 four seater and love it. Most of my riding is done outside of hunting season and max it's me + 2 other people hunting, so then we just put our gear in the empty seat. I'm looking at getting a roof rack as well to carry rifles on it which will free up more space, but the...
I have a Canam Maverick x3 four seater. The ride quality is great. When hunting there are 1-3 of us total, leaving the 4th seat to store our gear. It isn't perfect, but it works and is a good tradeoff since most of my rides across the year are trail riding and not hunting.
I am considering...
I logged hundreds of miles with my kids in the Osprey kid carrier. It was really well designed and purchased and sold on craiglist 5 years later for basically the same cost. The sun shade was great and the pack rode pretty well while keeping the kids anchored nicely
Thank you @Formidilosus for all of the extensive reviews, although they will cost me some $. I'm going to sell my new SFP Leica 3-18x Amplus 6 and move to FFP MiL reticle in an ATACR 4-16 or the Maven RS1.2. I read in one of the many scope threads that the Maven renders the Trijicon Tenmile...
I agree they are worth it. If I were to get only 2 I would probably choose the SSS & mini ultralight. My son loves the ultralight and it's appropriately named and weighs next to nothing, similar to the SSS. I like the surface of the flat waxed a lot as well.
All really quality products
Following up here, I spoke with @hereinaz and actually ended up with the SSS, mini ultralight, and flat waxed. All are great so far and provide plenty of options to set up for various situations including comfort when glassing
I picked up a used 7.3 gas F250 back in October and love it. It tows really nicely. Stiffer than the F150 but I'm offroading in the sxs anyway so not too big of a deal. Wish I got the 20+mpg some guys get with their diesels but great beyond that
@hereinaz: I'm looking at the SSS or the 2-5 Ultralight rear bag for me and my son as we do more long range work. Which would you recommend if we only carry one thing into the field for hunting & practice? Also, is there anywhere in PHX area to try both out?
I tow 5k lbs SXS trailer most weekends, up and down the hills north of Phoenix plus hunting/camping trips with the family of 4 & dogs around the state. I am mainly looking at used F150 Supercrew V8s although wondering if a higher mileage F250 may be a better choice. The truck will be my daily...
What left this?
Longtime listener, first time poster. I spotted this scat in AZ Unit 22 around 5k ft elevation. Rolls are about 2.5 inches in diameter and have some fur in them. Is this bear scat? Mountain lion? Looks too fat for javelina. Was near water.
