It’s normal for brass to not be fully fire formed with one or two firings. You can full length resize the brass without bumping the shoulder.
As far as trimming brass. Trim five to ten thousands below minimum and it’ll take you a few firings before you need to trim them again. Always trim them...

I just hunt. When an opportunity presents itself, I’ll decide in the moment if I want to kill it or continue hunting. I leave very little behind to waste when I do kill an animal.

I use range finding binos when rifle hunting. For archery I still prefer separate units. It’s easier to range with one hand while the bow is in the other.
