Do you get consistent ignition of the 777, I just bought the northwest and haven’t gotten out to shoot yet. But looking into it, since it doesn’t have the Blackhorn type plug I’ve heard of people complain of ignition issues with loose powder.
Anybody have first hand experience with either the chugach or M5 in really wet conditions? I’m headed to Alaska for caribou and need something that’ll keep my dry, but able to bust brush and is packable.
I currently have vortex razor HD 10x42. Strongly considering upgrading to the zulu6 12x42. Are the Zulu’s worth it? I feel like I often miss game, especially feeehand glassing if I’m not going to stop and break out my tripod. Looking into something a little higher power and the image...
I have a pair of Maven C1 10x42 binos, just recently saw a buddy selling vortex razor 10x42s for $550. Is the razor glass worth the upgrade over the C1 glass? He lives across the country so it just isn’t as simple as comparing them side by side with him and I don’t have a vortex dealer within a...
I live in Idaho, but moving to the Midwest for school and want to bow hunt while I’m there. Picked up a Mathews V3X from a buddy and now looking for a new sight. What’s going to be my best bet for the Midwest as well as western hunts? I was looking at the Fast Eddie as well as a Tetra RYZ but...

I’m upgrading rifles this year and right now I’m leaning toward the tikka T3x roughneck in 6.5PRC. It’ll be used for essentially everything on the western half of the country as I’m in Idaho and will be taking trips to Alaska every few years. Would I potentially regret not getting a 7PRC?
Looking at going a different direction with my puffy jacket and curious what everybody else is running. I currently have the Kuiu Super Down Ultra, and I like it. The weight is great and it’s pretty warm in most situations, but every single time I wear it it seems like I lose a handful of down...
