I've heard corian and similar resin based or synthetic solid surface counter tops are not the best for heat resistance.
As nice as some granite is... I end up going back to butcher block. It's also really easy to DIY whether you want to build your own or just buy premade slabs and cut them...
There will always be people more concerned with status than money.
As far as "write offs" It can reduce tax liability to some degree, but still doesn't come even close to offsetting the cost of the vehicle.
Yeah, I never did like the Army rucks. I just made it work... I've been issued both the older metal framed rucks and the newer plastic suspension MOLLE stuff. I especially don't like how broad/fat the MOLLE rucks are.
I've got the K4 saved. I'll look for one locally first. Thanks.
I'll have to check it out. I have kinda been looking for a good pack, but never got past online research or poking around at stuff on store shelves (where the staff just walk past you).
I just end up putting my army ruck on out of habit...
I still do most work that needs to be done. I tend not to keep vehicles long enough to require major maintenance these days.
All my yard tools, mowers, etc... are battery or plug in now... No need to mess with oil, carbs, spark plugs... not a single smelly fuel can in my garage.
My first 4...
I wore the same 5 or 6 pairs of pants every single day for 7 years straight in Afghanistan as a contractor. Rigging sling loads, driving forklifts, hanging out of helicopters...
I'm pretty sure they Academy's in house brand and were like $25... Those ultralight/thin zip off leg cargo pants...
Prices on many things have gone insane over the past few years. I certainly wouldn't pay a huge markup on any vehicle. Also *almost* certainly would never buy a NEW vehicle. Throwing money away, regardless of how much I have I just can't do it.
