    To be fair, hog hide really is much thicker than most other North American game. I’m always impressed by the shield on big boars. I can attest, however, that TMK blows right through it, and 77gr is PLENTY big medicine for big piggies, even from an 11.5” barrel.

    Which Nightforce Scope?

    NX8 2-20 here. The chief complaint you’ll hear regarding the NX8 is the finicky eye box, but I have not found it tricky at all, and I hate tight eye boxes. Also would not want any more magnification. I’ve taken it out to a mile and 20x was plenty.

    30-06 to 6.5 PRC to 6.5 CM. Couldn’t quite go all the way down to the little calibers, but figured maybe I could find a happy middle ground with the creedmoor. Vortex is just temporary. It’ll get the NX8 if it shoots.
