G5 t2 on my whitetail buck. 30yd shot full pass through and never found the arrow. 415 grains at 265fps. 60lbs 28”. Two big holes and lots of blood, he died in sight.
I’ve never worried about lead poisoning from game, but if I did much gun hunting seems like it could be easy enough to try and avoid. I will say I shot a deer with my bow this year and have been spitting out lead shot from my ground meat, so there’s only so much you can do lol.
How did the white cloud compare to the chamberlain bulk wise? Is the chamberlain quite a bit puffier or were they similar? You think the chamberlain is warmer?

No experience with either personally, but a guy on another forum says he sold his stratus jacket and uses the challis instead now. I thought that was pretty high praise.
Agreed, or people will drop a bunch of money on something whitetail specific like the stratus and then be mad when they get cold because it’s not insulated. Windproof is super important, but you have to start adding insulation as it gets cold.
For one set up for everything, I think the best way to go is an uninsulated wind proof outer layer like the new first lite phase or Sitka stratus. When your morning temps are above 40 like they have been most of the year so far in northern/central IL I would be fine in just a base layer and...
