    What he said. 22 creedmoor! I just chopped a tikka 308 down to 16". Tinkering with a short barrel for a bit before swapping. Leaning towards a 22 creedmoor.

    Gotcha. I just had a tikka 308 cut super short and threaded. I think it'd be cutting too much on a 300wm to get the 5/8 thread on that thin barrel. I'm looking at rebarreling my 300 too so I can run it suppressed. You in Alaska or Canada?
