No tune.
If I keep it below 2000 rpms crusing on interstate (75mph) I get 21 mpg
If I hit around 80 mph which is about 2200/2300 rpm
That drops into the 14-15 mpg range
Nobody is pulling a fast one.
Things like your geography and the truck's equipment are what plays the part.
Where I'm at you cant travel a mile without hitting a hill of some size.
A 2000 Dodge Ram with 3.55 gear and a 318 had a mpg sticker of 19 and 15.

This is a complete superficial perception based on the 1980's ...particularly the early 80's...when you could barely hear a Honda Accord idling yet a Ford Fairmont 🙄 and or a Chevy Citation would be noisy and leaking oil at...
