I would personally go with a hang on and sticks after starting out with a climber. I got frustrated with my climber because I could never find good trees to get into.
Shop used and cry once. If you get a quality stand it will last your years.
Went from an older LW climber to using the 0.5 and 2 or 3 17inch doubles with aiders this year. What a world of difference since i did not have to hunt trees and could get in whatever. Thought about picking up a saddle for a hybrid type set up but going to stick with the .5 for this year.
I really like the TOTA head. It flys really well and the blood trails are very good. Punches a big square hole. I feel the 2 blade fixed heads are more beneficial for a traditional bow vs a compound. The compounds have the energy to shoot a bigger head and penetrate so I tend to go that route.

This doesn't include ramp up sets. I work up to 2 top sets to form failure.
