    Ruger American vs Howa barreled action

    I have the ruger american and howa in 6 arc. I hate the ar mags in the ruger and the action is clunky. The howa has a stockys carbon fiber stock and a jefferson bottom metal. Both shoot quite well although I am limited on seating depth with AR mags in the ruger.

    Im running 108 eldms at 2750 out of my bolt gun loaded with leverevolution powder. Crushed deer with it last season!

    New rifle

    The xbolt Speed is a fine rifle. I have a suppressor ready model chambered in 6.5 PRC and it flat shoots. Action is smooth, feeds reliably. Fixed the trigger with a simple trigger spring kit from mcarbo. Breaks like my triggertechs now

    Killed alot of deer in GA with 25-06 and a 117 sst's. Ran across a deal on 500 115 vlds last year and have worked up a load with them. They shoot lights out but no experience on game yet
