    WTS Model 7

No apology needed, I’m just confused as well. In your pictures I’m reading Leupold vx3i 2.5-8x36 on the gold ring, but your add states 2-7 and now vx Freedom. Maybe my phone is messing up, not sure. I just wanted to know which Leupold comes with it.

    WTS Model 7

So, does not come with the vx3i 2.5-8x36 in the pics, but with a Leupold 2-7 heavy? Could you list the model and objective on the 2-7? Thanks, Don

    Encore 209x45

Agreed, but sabots are easier for those not familiar with sizing and just starting out.

BlachHorn209 powder 100gr by volume, under a Barnes .40 Expander 195gr if you can find them. Fairly easy to find the TC .40cal SST bullets, I use both in .45 Harvester light blue sabots, same charge volume.

Will there ever be primers again?

I’ve been buying some from individuals that realized they couldn’t possibly use all they had. Averaging $85 per 1k.

    Ram Rod

I carry a collapsible ramrod made by Arrowhead Sporting goods with a Spinjag on the end, goes in a neck pouch with my starter. It works well for me.

    Barnes TMZ are they discontinued

I honestly like the TEZs better, they group better for me then the boat tail TMZs. I Chuck the Barnes sabots and use Harvester Crush Ribs.

If you want to shoot pellets and not pour charges, .50 cal stuff if much easier to find. Soak the plug in Kroil and find a VERY light fitting drill bit and turn by hand to try to get the rust out.

    CVA Kodiak load recommendations?

When I had one, I used 250gr Barnes TEZs over 90 grains BH209 by volume, Federal 209A primer. It grouped well at 100 and was hell on deer.

    Advice about a Rem 700ml

Depends on what you want. The bolt nose kit and new breech plug a must to fix blowback issues. There are probably many take off barrels in good shape where people rebarreled to smokeless, I’d just look at the smokeless muzzleloader sites and see if you can pick one up cheap. You could go new...

Keep the 15s and try the Kowa, the two I have looked through were very nice.

Buying before your probation days are up?

So I’m new here and there something in the classifieds that I’d like to buy, it can’t post there for 7 or so days and can’t start a PM. Is there anyway around that? I understand not t being able to post something for sale, but I figured buying would be different. Just asking. Thanks, Don
