    I'm thinking you are right for the price for a day pack it is a great option. My use case I have in mind is for rifle season. So no stand. I was hoping for something to help get the deer back when several miles from the truck .

    Best day pack???

    I really like my kuiu venture 2300. Plenty of straps and lash points to expand or compress as needed. I've strapped stands and sticks to hike in and it handles weight well.
