Anyone got some load exp in 7mm mag tikka t3x 140 ttsx and n565?
Not in a Tikka, but I didn't get the best velocities with N565 62 grains (about 2750 fps) . I also found the barrel was crazy hot after a few rounds. I much prefer N160 / N165 . Usually max out around 62 grains, great consistency! The only downside to Viht powders in 7mm mag is you never... -
IMR 4350 worth picking up?
I personally like the vihtavuori powders now more than ever. N160/N165 in that burn rate range. The price hasn't gone up nearly as much as Hodgdon lines. The Vihtavuori powders always give some of my lowest ES and SD. -

H4350 is supposed to be more temp stable. IMR might give slightly different results, but when I've seen it on the shelf I pass because of the $74 / LB price. -

7mm Rem Mag Ruger M77 mark 2 for elk

If muzzeloader hunting, practice, practice, practice. Most think muzzy you just pick it up and extend your killing range. Borrowing the muzzy is fine if you practice a few months and are proficient with the weapon. -
Favorite hand loads 7mm rem mag and 300wsm for elk
162 eldx will be plenty. I've shot elk with 140/160 accubonds, 140 barnes ttsx, federal fusion, remington corelokts and many others. Personally I like copper bullets as it doesn't bloodshot much meat. -

Regarding calling or visiting a CPW office.... They don't even know their own regulations! As someone who lives in Grand Junction, they are terrible. The only people who actually know the laws are the wildlife officers, unfortunately they are spread so thin they don't have time to help people...
