You may be correct - i haven't heard this - i have gone hiking in the area a few times and never had issue. I usually park in the lot for Vivian creek. The only times ive gone up there have been week days in the spring and the camp site is mostly empty. Not sure what its like during hunting...

I just got the Revic range finder only - has a ballistic app for quick adjustments in the field - still in the set up process but super impressed so far.
i have done a couple horseback trips in the Frank Church out in idaho - im no expert on horses but i enjoy them. My buddy and myself met colter at the western hunt expo and booked a hunt with him for 2024. Kind of wondering if the hunting will be worth it or not.

ive been trying to get on this hunt - for non residents it was like 5 points needed from what i was told by an outfitter - but i think Wyoming changed tag allocations for non residents so its probably longer now.
I know they have a few different areas they hunt - they do have a cancellation or two each year from the sounds of things - but sounds like they book out 2-3 yrs in advanced from speaking with them at the hunt expo.
