I wouldn't change anything based on one session. There are lots of factors that could be contributing to it being 1 MOA off. Head/tail winds, target at a slope, etc. I use the apps to get me ball park and write down my dope for future reference and field use.
It happens. I trim up the snags to make them less visible and less likely to snag or pull more. I have a few pairs of each of the Tiburon, katanas, and attacks. The Tiburons snag much worse but I haven't had any really tear open yet and if they did I would just have them repaired.
Seen or shot several coyotes pheasant and goose hunting. Can't imagine relying on steel shot vs a wolf. I'd start carrying a sidearm if there was a possibility of larger predators.
I've got the uninsulated Nevadas. I wouldn't want to wear any insulated boots unless I was going to have a lot of stationary time or hiking through snow but my feet sweat profusely.
I have black ovis bags that look the same. I've tried every which way to clean them also. I was honestly surprised how well they came clean for how gross they were, so that doesn't bother me much.
I don't have that particular model of Fenix but have a HM71R and the Peax, amongst many others. The Fenix is bulkier but they feel like they're better quality in hand. I prefer the way the Fenix lamps connect to the headband, seems less prone to breaking. I carry the Peax only when I'll want...
I'm in the camp of not wearing a base layer unless it's near zero. I'll adjust which Kuiu pants I'm wearing to match the weather. If I'm stopped moving and getting chilly I throw on puffy pants.
