    How did your project turn out? I’m planning to do this same thing with an old 308 that’s in the safe. Did you leave the back end of the boss system on the gun and run the thread adapter up to that and call it a day? Or did you take everything off so it’s just bare threads?

    I purchased the Manners EH1TK - Factory bottom metal. My hesitation with it was that it didn't have an adjustable cheek piece. turns out it's a non issue with the scope / ring / base combo that I am running.

    Browning x bolt any mark downs?

    I own a Browning X-Bolt OD green in a 6.5CM. Just picked it up this spring. It’s a nice little gun for the money in my opinion. Trigger is a little heavy. It shoots well!!!
