Honestly, I’m not really sure. I took a real shotgun approach to fixing and tried a number of things all at once. The issue seems to have resolved, but all I can say for certain is that messing around with the extractor didn’t hurt me.

The King Toe line really doesn't compare to a true barefoot shoe. I have a wide pair on my feet right now, and they are much narrower than anything I wear outside of work. Certainly better than most other safety toed boots though.
