    I bought a Roughtech 308 a few years ago. To me the cost of a roughtech is not worth it. Buy a compact and get the barrel threaded when you can. The factory brake offers very minimal recoil reduction if any at all! I had my barrel cut recently back to 18”. Much more of a nimble rifle now but...
