Hello,
My daughter has been shooting a 7mm-08, Tikka T3 and it's a bit on the heavy/long side for. I'm wondering if there are shorter stocks out there that would be a better fit for her? I'd rather change the stock than buy a new gun. I'm new to changing stocks on the gun so I don't really know...
I'm looking to upgrade my binoculars to Swarovski. I'd prefer a 10x in Pure or EL. I would also be open to an 8x in Pure or EL. I don't want any with the rangefinder. If anyone has some available, please message me with a price and description of what you have.
Since I started this thread I think it's only fair I provide this information. I bought a pair of 15x56 Vortex Vulture HD's about 7 years ago. They were used. I don't hunt out west very often so they mainly stay in my closet. I think used them on a couple of hunts and that was it.

Best bang for your buck, especially since there are three of you, would be Newfoundland. You won't shoot huge moose but there's a chance all three will get one.
I appreciate all the replies. As I may have mentioned, I have next to zero experience with binoculars. I just don't hunt out west enough to justify them yet.
A number of years ago it seemed liked Vortex was all the rage. That's all I heard about for 'mid range' glass. How come they aren't in the discussion anymore? Honestly, I'm not a glass nerd. Is there really that much difference between their Viper HD and some of the other mid to higher end glass?
For the majority of my hunting I've always drug out a deer after shooting. I'm thinking about going the the quartering route and packing it out. Is it possible to get a deer out in one trip? Two? How many does it normally take you?
I'm glad you were able to get it worked out. Like many things in life, it's amazing what can happen when we take our issues directly to the person we are having them with. Sometimes it's just a simple misunderstanding. Good luck with your hunt. If it matters, I shoot a 30.06 for moose. Dropped...
