    Wool sock recommendations?

    I've really been impressed with my Crispi merino wool socks. Worn them for 8 days straight with no stink and they remained comfortable. I do have pretty tough feet that don't sweat much though.

    Moose hind quarter dimensions?

    I've never moose hunted but would love to some day. While packing out an elk last month, me and my buddies were debating what most people do to carry and elk hind quarter. Are ya'll beastly enough to carry it whole, or is there some breakdown and deboning being done to handle it?

    Do Bleat (and other) calls actually work?

    I have found grunting to be very effective in michigan, during pre-rut and rut. That said, I have never even come close to success trying to rattle. I have also whitetail hunted a little in arkansas and found grunting worked well there.

    Done! Thanks for posting. I really enjoy mountain biking and find mountain bikers far less self-centered than road cyclists, but this is ridiculous. There is so much reclaim-type land that great mountain bike trails can be constructed on, no need for this.
