I actually have the old version, the Tensor Ultralight Insulated with a 4.2 R-value. I see now that they have 3 different types of Tensor pads, so this isn't the exact pad you're looking at.
If you are considering a system like this, take a look at the Wiser Sparrow. It keeps the mount centered on the binos instead of supported on just one side (like the Aziak clamp). It also doesn't require a stud. Sorry, this is a little off topic from the op.
I'd second this. My hunting buddy has this setup that I have used, and even in light wind, it is pretty shaky. I do plan to get the Quickstix this year for shooting, though. They're nifty.
I ended my fruitless efforts trying to create a good hunting pack out of non/not good hunting packs. My Osprey Zenith and my Cabela's frame pack will now sit at home during hunting season. I dropped the coin for an SG Col 4800. I already know my hips and back are going to thank me.
