I had a sit down with my agent and discussed this very same thing. They told me that they’ the insurance company were settling out of court for anything less that 25k. It was said that all the Morgan and Morgan and so on law firms you see on TV knew this as well.
I made several trips back to the dealership with a brand new, I took it out of the crate ‘Zuki 25 that I bought new back in ‘19. I can’t recommend it moving forward. I replaced it with a Merc’ and have 4 times the hours on it without a hiccup.
Like others have said, it depends on what it’s going to cost to chop it and thread it. I’ve seen prices all over the place on here for smith work. I threaded a single shot .243 for my son years ago and that firearm became a family favorite afterwards. I say do it.
Seen this thread the other day, but the saw was sold out. I signed up for the email notification of restocking, and what do you know 8am this morning its back in stock.
I bought the CVA Hunter in .243 flavor once my son came into this world. My thinking was every kid needs a single shot rifle as one of their first firearms. I knew he could shoot it either handed, right or left. He turned out to be right eye dominant. The little single shot is heavy enough, that...
If I hadn’t traded for the Killdeer, I was going to build something similar to this It’s a harness that has had lineman loops sewed on it. This would work well for me when hanging stands and while hunting. The picture is not mine, I snagged it off of bookface.
I’ve been following this thread, because I’ve been on the fence about adding a dedicated pistol can to my collection. A friend just got approval in three days. It was his first can and an individual. I expect mine to take longer.
I just received a Dryad Killdeer yesterday in a trade. I’ve only wore it once, but like it thus far while being in a stand. I like that it has lineman loops I can use while placing climbing sticks and hanging loc-on’s.
We’ve got climbers, loc-in’s and sticks. We even have a saddle or two we use. If I’m able my favorite way to get up a tree is a tree hopper drill and bolts.
Lots of good advice given. I’ll try and keep it short. Glad to see you getting compensation after 40, because as a first level supervisor you’re going to work more than 40 more often than not. It may not be at your place of employment, but it will be with phone calls, emails, etc. while you’re...
That’s a really good deal for that 30 cal can listed in the link. I was goin to say don’t sleep on Yankee Hill cans. I’ve got a 30 cal can that has been eating everything that can physically do through it.
I have several calls made from guys that are local to me, same state etc. I have box and pot calls made from either the material I asked for and/or maybe the finish.
