I had a pair for about ten minutes….boots were super hard to take off. They fit great and felt great walking around the house but taking them off was a chore. Couldn’t imagine trying to get them off after hunting all morning.
I’ve had a SX3 for years and the only issue was replacing the recoil spring. It’s been my absolute favorite shotgun and wish I could find another new one to buy.
Well after missing a big buck earlier this week, I told myself I’m not shooting a buck unless he’s big…..this guy had his head in the brush and thought he was much bigger! Dang tree branches looked like antlers!
Missed a dandy today. Found him back in August and I’ve been looking for him all season. He finally showed up this morning and I managed to miss him at 170 yards. I think buck fever got the best of me. Heartbroken….but back at it tomorrow morning.
So I picked up my new 2024 GMC 1500 at4 with the baby Duramax. Was tough to say goodbye to my 2015 Ram 3500, but this new truck sure is nice. Took a trip to the coast and computer says I averaged 28.8 mpg.
Well I live in Oregon….so I won’t be deleting the truck. As stated in my original post, I don’t need a new truck but kind of want one. I’ve had this truck for 9 years and it’s just time for something different. Not rich, but money for a new truck isn’t an issue. I’m going to try out the GMC...
Ha I’m sure I’ll get all kinds of encouragement!
Taking the truck in tomorrow to find out what the deal is. Ram has a new recall on 2013-18’s for the DEF system. Hoping this is the issue.
First of all, I don’t NEED a new truck I just WANT a new truck. I currently own a 2015 Ram 3500 megacab diesel. Truck has been trouble free and only has 64k miles on it. But recently a check engine light keeps popping up and I know diesels can be quite spendy to work on.

I recently bought a new Tikka .243 with the 1:8 twist. I ordered some 108 ELDMs from Unknown Munitions. I haven’t had a chance to shoot them yet but they fit in the factory mag and cycle through the gun fine.
I have both rifles and definitely prefer the Element. The Waypoint is a nice rifle, but is a bit more bulky and doesn’t feel as good in the hand. And my Element is a sweet shooter!
