What’s you’re draw weight vs Age

55lbs at 27.5" 30 years old Not a big guy, and I've stuck with 55 because I haven't had time to shoot a lot lately. I know I can be consistent at that weight without practicing. Thinking about bumping up to 60lbs for elk this year.

    2023 Elite Omnia Flagship Bow

Hoping to go try this out at my local shop pretty soon. Love all the technology, including the draw length and let-off adjustments. Don't know if it'll make me get rid of my Vertix, but maybe I can pick one up in the classifieds for cheap in a year.

    Hunting with no stabilizer

I've run it during the season in both configurations, stabilizer and no stabilizer. I do like a stabilizer when I'm shooting longer distances as it tightens my pin float, but taking off the extra weight is always a plus.

Getting back into bowhunting. Got a good deal on a V3x. Setup questions/suggestions.

Limb driven rests are definitely easier to tune and a little more bulletproof, but I enjoy the QAD integrate I'm running on my Vertix. Have never had an issue with it, nor with any other QAD I've run. I'm also an engineer by trade, so I really like how streamlined the integrate is. The micro...

    Worst Deering Hunting Advice?

"Don't hunt when it's hot out, you won't kill a big one" While I get the sentiment, it defeats the purpose of just being out there!

    Practice Arrows and Hunting Arrows

I have five arrows that sit in my quiver all hunting season with broadheads on them. I'll confirm these are flying straight and spinning true before slapping on a broadhead. I have six plus practice arrows, and in that group there are arrows that I will use for hunting if I bust a quiver arrow...

    Expandable broad heads VS Fixed

Shot a buck last week with a QAD Exodus that ran all of 20 yards. Also took a doe last year that ran a little further, but was dead within 30 seconds. The entry wound on both were very impressive for a fixed blade (as you can see in the pics), and both were pass-throughs. Sent from my...
