I've been buying the Harvester EVO suppressor for around $550, it's 10.8 oz, 6.23" long. Not full-auto rated but that's fine for a hunting rifle. However, it has since been discontinued and I'm looking for something similar in the same $/weight/length range. Recommendations appreciated, thanks!
Used Proof barrel, less than 45 rounds (still have the ammo boxes), shot .244" with Berger Hybrid Target ammo. Barrel in perfect shape, no defects, just decided I needed another 308. $979 at Midway, asking $695
I used my 7 PRC for the first time this year, shot a doe at 115 yards, bullet (175 ELDX) performed as expected. I really like the PRC but mostly think it's overkill for most deer at under 200 yards. The 7mm RM is a better fit with bullets in the 140-160 range. The PRC shines in open country...

I just recently got mine assembled, DIY pre-fit.
Defiance Ruckus GA Hunter
Proof carbon @ 22" (compromise for suppresser)
McMillan Game Hunter
ARC Rings
Leupold 5 HD 3-15
Hawkins HDBM
Trigger Tech
First range day, factory ammo, .574" three shot
I've bought a few McMillans in the past year or two, one on order now. My favorite is the Game Hunter and then the Game Warden for a clean simple comb. The Game Warden 2.0 TG is another good option. The Remington Hunter is more of a traditional stock, Sako design, and has a barrel channel...
I appreciate that feedback, I wear an XL glove so maybe the grip would be ok? I'm good with #2. I have dedicated hunting rigs, they wear the Game Hunters which I generally like so this would be more of a target/long range practice rifle. The GWLR looks kinda funky but I've never held one so...
