Brand new Wild Rock GTX 11.5 boots. Only worn long enough to realize I made a mistake and needed to buy the 11.5EE. Costly mistake on my part. $350

    Boots!

Love my crispis as well. I have a pair of crispi Wild Rock GTX 11.5 I can’t return. Ended up having to buy the 11.5EE’s due to my wide foot. Thought the regular 11.5’s would’ve been fine. After about 3 miles walking in them I realized I was screwed. Expensive mistake I’ll only make once. Hit...

    Surprisingly, rain gear exceeded expectations

I absolutely hate rain gear. I sweat so much with it it’s almost like I didn’t have any on at all. Glad you found something you like.

Help Me Understand High End Rain Gear

I would just get some quality stuff. You get what you pay for. My last cheap set (frog Toggs) got a 2’ rip down the side of my leg from walking through the bush and left me soaked.

Best way to get blood out of rain gear?

Not gonna be easy. Maybe some baking soda and let it soak. Prob only be able to fade it out some.

Anyone Ever Have to Shoot Opposite Handed?

I’ve shot offhand and it’s super awkward. 1” group isn’t bad, you’re on the right track. Gonna just have to practice.

How much wildgame does your family eat?

Depends on what I have in the freezer. My problem is I don’t eat it fast enough because I’m always saving it haha. New rule is it it as much as you can while it’s still fresh. Also helps if you can make something the family enjoys out of it. Grinding game meat in to burger is very versatile.

How much hunting does your wife let you get by with?

I guess it depends on how much money you have. No way I could hunt more than a trip or two a year and do my other hobbies as well. Gotta keep the wife happy as well. Maybe when I retire I could do more hunting if I’m not too broken by then.
