    300 win mag

    I shoot Berger 210 vld’s with reloder 26 out of my 300wm. It’s a tack driver and shoots 3038fps when I ran it through the chronograph. Reloder 26 is a great powder but hard to get. H1000 shot well but was about 50fps slower. H1000 is less temperature sensitive apparently.

    For my 300wm I used 85.5 grains of reloder 26 and got velocities of 3038 on 210 Berger VLD’s.

    We hunted unit 17 this year with a guide in the middle of September and no luck. Did not see a lot of elk sign.

    I can tell you don’t use Ready Outfitters. We had a terrible experience. They guide in the Selway.
