Quick question, needing a pretty quick answer.
I have a 6x Swiffer (mil quad) right now. Actually, I have 6xs on 3 rifles. I know them & I love them
A great friend of mine is looking for a scope for a new .308, budget is 500.
I've also found a 3-15 SWFA for sale at 550.
Would you:

First attempt at buckboard bacon:
16 days EQ (1.8 salt, 2% sugar, 0.25% No.1) 24 continuous hours cold smoking over bourbon soaked pecan at 54-68⁰
Clockwise from top left:
Black pepper,
Unflavored,
Honey/Maple (trim & lumps)
Fermented red jalapeño & garlic,
Paprika.
Does ball size matter? (Stop it......)
As long as the head is rated at a max load of more than I be putting on it, is there any advantage to, say, a 44mm ball over a 28 or 30?
I'm looking to set up my first non-Bog-Pod shooting tripod. Budget is a big factor & it seems like if there are...
Do these exist?
Everything I'm finding is very much in the wrong side of $150 most are twice that at least.
I'm not looking for an ultralight, high-tech carbon, ceremite & adamantium job; just straight aluminum. It's for 99% range use.
A friend on another forum sent me this link.
It's to the original post on 24HR, so I really hope I'm not getting in trouble for this.....

I load large quantities on a Dillon 550.
I recently bought a lot of 'fully prepped' 5.56 brass. I'm getting tough bolt closure with my Tikka .223 & is near impossible to close the bolt on my little straight pull AR.
Seems like it hasn't been fully sized. It all needs the shoulders pushing back...
Anyone?
I know they're like hen's teeth & honest politicians, but I've got a 3-and-a-bit pound AR that's gagging for an ultralight scope!
I have a Burris Fullfield II 2-7x35 I'd offer in part trade, if wanted, or straight up cash if not.
WKR only, or Li'l 'sliders with sales references. NO...
Looking for a small, light, cheap scope to go on an AR. I'm talking Redfield Revolution/Burris Fullfield/Bushnell Elite 3200 kinda thing. Really trying to avoid Vortex if possible. I've had too many warranty repairs to trust them anymore.
Nothing much over $100 (It's for a SUPER budget build...
I've honestly never paid that much attention to .223 brass in the past. I've used what i pick up at the range, done all my own processing & not worried to much about headstamp or .223/5.56 crossover.
But now I have an actually nice .223 & I'd like to take more notice & care of what I'm feeding...
As I've happily admitted in many posts over the years, I've always been a fatty.
Well, a few months ago I decided not to be. Well, I decided I needed to shed about 20lb anyway.
I have osteoarthritis in my left ankle & complications from a gunshot wound in my right knee & as I'm getting older...
I've cleaned with Borax & degreased for 48 hours in a strong Dawn solution. Right now he's on his second peroxide application. I'm thinking maybe a third would be good (12% cream)
After he's all white, should I clear coat him & how long should I leave it to dry before spraying?
This is only...
I just went to put my Lowa Tibets on to go hunt this morning. First time I've needed them since I got home from Wyoming in November & a mouse or rat has chewed a hole in the freaking left heel! 🤬🤬🤬
It's deep enough & large enough that it no longer provide any stability or support & wouldn't you...
Round count is <200, has a couple of small scuffs on the stock, but nothing major. Only hunted with once. I much prefer my Swede & .358.
Limbsaver recoil pad.
No scope or mounts included bare rifle only.
Can text better pics, if you send me your number.
$750 to your FFL (L48) Check or Money...
Quick heads up (pun intended)
I just found these & they seem like a hell of a deal if you're wanting to avoid kydex.
I just ordered 2.

This is mostly aimed at guys like me: easterners who venture West.
If you're going to be out there when the temperatures drop into the negatives & the humidity is in the single digits at best; don't forget to breathe 'backwards' IN through the mouth, OUT through the nose.
I was in Wyoming in...
Hope this is ok.
I have no affiliation other than I bought one before my Wyoming hunt this year & it's an incredibly handy piece of kit!
Not for everyone, I understand, but one of those silly, simple things that if you have the need for one is absolutely indispensable...
I can't seem to find any more recent info than 2002.
If I'm using a road legal & registered motorcycle on non-numbered NF roads/trails, do I need to buy an OHV sticker?
The 2002 regs read like I don't, but I don't want to take a chance.
Thanks!
So, I just dropped a bit of a clanger. I printed off a quick range card for my Swede to take out to Wyoming next week (8-9000' altitude difference). I checked all the come-ups & checked my dial super quick (spin it up, spin it back down) trouble is, it kept spinning down!
I literally just...
